Boys and Girls Club

Patsy Cline Historic House

The Patsy Cline Historic House is opening for tourist season this week and needs volunteers to lead tours, work in the gift shop, and run the admissions desk. The house will be open Wednesday - Sunday, 10am - 4pm this spring and summer. Volunteer hours are flexible and built around your schedule. Free training is provided!

Estudiantes Unidos Bracelet Sale

Estudiantes Unidos be hosting a bracelet sale in April at various locations. Since 2015, Estudiantes has raised just over $1,500 for the Pulsera Project.

Pulsera Project is a non-profit organization that works with youth and adults in Nicaragua to sell handmade bracelets in high schools and college campuses across the U.S. The profits go back to Nicaragua to fund scholarships for those who made the pulseras; support community projects; and offer alternative job opportunities to young adults. April 22 - ReStore Grand Opening
(Shifts or all day)
The ReStore is having a grand opening for their new location. Volunteers are needed to help greet customers, move stock around, and keep the store organized during this time. All proceeds from the ReStore go towards Habitat's missions.

April 29 - Volunteer Appreciation Awards (3:00 pm - 8:00 pm)
Volunteers are needed to set up, tear down, and assist with running the Volunteer Appreciation Awards event.

United Way Rubbermaid Sale
Saturday, April 29

Thanks to a special partnership with Rubbermaid Commercial Products, United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley offers a monthly sale of returned goods, discontinued products and slightly damaged items. The sale is held the last Saturday of the month, in the Belk Parking lot at Apple Blossom Mall in Winchester, VA from 8:00 am to 12 noon. Items are different every week and the proceeds of each week's sale benefits a different local organization.

Event Set Up

Friday, May 5 (9:00 am)

The Apple Blossom event committee needs one or two volunteers to help set up signs for the Anthony's Pizza weekend. Set up starts at 9:00 am in Jim Barnett Park, which is within walking distance of campus. Set up ends once everything is placed.
