Camden Harbor
8 in x 10 in - Oil on Panel - 2019
Photo reference by Sarah Guare. I love this loose sketch of the harbor crammed with schooners.

Meet Maya - an InMoov - a life size 3D printed open source humanoid robot originally designed (the top half) by Gael Langevin in France. One of my many hobbies - robotics, AI, computer electronics - see to see it in action.

With all this hot weather we've been laying low, inside. I've designed, built and installed a whole new linear drive neck  ( into Maya and published everything on to share with the InMoov community.  This neck provides more controllable head movements:

And of course with summer the gardens are going like gang busters!
We've started making bio-char to create some Terra Preta soil. (A mixture of chrushed lump charcoal, compost, soil and organic fertilizer) For many years it was believed that the Amazon had such poor soil it could never support a population of any size. Now with LIDAR, we can see through the canopy and now know there were cities inhabited by millions... It turns out there are millions of hectares of a black manmade soil called Terra Preta. A living soil that remains fertile for thousands of years. So much we don't know or have forgotten about our own distant past. We'll be adding it to our beds a bin at at a time.

In addition to the PRCC I have ongoing displays at Oceanpoint Acupuncture (See MAP) -- Around 25 paintings there.

I also have 5 recent works up at Family Eye Care at 323 Main Street, Saco, Maine  04072

On a deux vies. La deuxième commence le jour où on réalise qu’on en a qu’une.

We have two lives. The second starts on the day we realize that we only have one.
