May 4: Save the Date for LINK Reception

The Office of Civic Engagement will honor its LINK Scholars on May 4 at a celebration in the Wolstein Center.

Alumni of the program, faculty/staff supports and LINK Scholar friends and family are also welcome to attend.

April 22: Earth Day Fair at CSU
CSU's Earth Fair 2016 will be held on Thursday, April 21st in the Student Center Atrium and Plaza from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Student Orgs Win Grants to Build Community Partnerships

Four CSU student organizations won grants to work with community partners around Northeast Ohio to strengthen communities in their areas of interest, which include law and social work among others.

'The Fury on US Campuses — and the Awakening'

CSU's Vice President of the Division of University Engagement and Chief Diversity Officer Byron White recently penned a reflection on racial discord nationwide between universities and minority students.

Community Partner: Friendly Inn Settlement, Inc.

Cleveland State's Occupational Therapy program has teamed up with the Friendly Inn Settlement in the Central Neighborhood to work with children on artistic outlets for their emotions.

Student Spotlight: Brian Boccieri

Brian Boccieri, a Deckard Family Civic Fellow, is soon graduating. His time as a Physical Therapy Aid at the Louis Stokes Veterans Administration Hospital has sparked his interest in serving vets that he plans to pursue in the future.
