Hi <<First Name>>,

Happy almost Labor Day! It’s hard to believe how fast this season has gone by and that the unofficial final weekend of the summer is almost here! As we all get together with our families and friends to celebrate the contributions workers have made to the strength and well-being of our country, we thought we’d do our part and provide some nutritious recipes to add to your Labor Day menus. They’re guaranteed to help keep the hard workers in your family happy and healthy.

Sometimes, even after we’ve eaten the healthiest of meals, we’re ambushed by that invariable trap, DESSERT!

This week, we put our heads together and thought, “What if we could make a dessert (that haven of sugar and butter and all things sweet) healthy, tasty, and yes, chock-full of vegetables?”
Well, we did it, and we’re going to show you how to do it too! Team Olivia’s is happy to present your delectable, decadent and diet-friendly Labor Day dessert recipes!

Chocolate Fudgy Spinach Brownies:

No one, and we mean no one, will guess the ingredients of these gooey, chocolatey, absolutely delicious brownies. Not only are they gluten and dairy free, but they contain two full cups of nutrient-dense spinach. Be prepared to shock and surprise!
Celery Sorbet with Honeyed Celery Shaved Salad:
Celery, our dear friend, is often relegated to being served with the likes of peanut butter, hummus and soup. But actually, it can be a delicious dessert as the key ingredient in our killer sorbet! Refreshing and just a little fancy, this sorbet, accompanied by a very easy balsamic fig compote and creamy goat cheese, will be the surprising Big Thing at your Labor Day extravaganza. And, if it’s a hot one, it will guarantee to refresh and cool off guests to boot!
Peach & Spinach Smoothie:
For something with a touch of sweet, check out this incredible smoothie that's satisfyingly dense without being too filling. Packed with natural sugars and some vitamin-rich baby spinach, this sweet treat is more than just a refreshing piece of post-dinner fruit, and it warrants less guilt than a Labor Day peach pie. We recommend prepping the ingredients before dinner, throwing them in the blender and then into the fridge, ready to be mixed.
