Minister D. Tsogtbaatar visits the State of Kuwait
Minister of Foreign Affairs D. Tsogtbaatar paid an official visit to the State of Kuwait at the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, Sabah Al Khalid Al Sabah, from December 17 to 18. The ministers discussed bilateral relations and exchanged views on the current state of bilateral ties and cooperation. The state officials pledged to mutually support each other at the international level to ensure peace and sustainability. Minister D. Tsogtbaatar thanked Deputy Prime Minister Al Sabah for Kuwait's assistance in renovating the Mongolian National Burn Center and upgrading the airport in Khentii Province. Deputy Prime Minister Al Sabah expressed support for expanding bilateral cooperation in the future.

Erdene Resource Development Corp. announces PEA results for the Khundii Gold Project
Erdene Resource Development Corp., dual-listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and Mongolian Stock Exchange, is planning to forge ahead with its relatively modest Khundii Gold Project in Mongolia after releasing a positive preliminary economic assessment (PEA). The Khundii project includes the Bayankhundii and Altan Nar deposits, which are rich in gold and polymetallic ore. The assessment reported that Bayankhundii has an average grade of 3.65 g/t gold, 2.7 million mineable tons of reserves, while the Altan Nar deposit has an average of 3.11 g/t gold and 1.9 million mineable tons of reserves.

JICA suggests the PDCA cycle method for Mongolia
As part of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JIC) project being carried out with the Social Insurance General Office to improve social insurance fund potential, JICA has suggested implementing the plan-do-check-act (PDCA) cycle within private entities and government organizations. PDCA, sometimes plan-do-check-adjust, is a repetitive, four-stage model for continuous improvement in business process management. Japan has improved its business environment significantly by using the cycle, reduced working days to four each week, and Japanese businesses have seen 85 million JPY in growth annually.

Meat export rises in November 2018
The National Statistical Office reported that the export of sheep, goat, cow, and horse meat reached 70 million USD as of November 2018, rising by 62.9 percent compared to the same period in 2017. The export of goat meat has grown 36 times higher in the past two years. Deputy Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry J. Saule noted that while maintaining balance herds, Mongolia has the potential to export 180,000 tons of meat every year. During the 2018 Bloomberg Finance Forum, analysts stated that there has been improved export diversification in Mongolia's agriculture sector.
