Happy Holidays!

Season’s Greetings! The staff here at Insurance resources hopes you had a very Happy Thanksgiving. As we move toward the end of another year we hope that you are able to spend Christmas, or your chosen holiday, with family and friends. In all the bustle that comes with this season, we would like to stop to offer you our wishes of peace, happiness, and joy.

At Insurance Resources, we are proud to have served the local community for over 17 years. We recognize the importance of giving back to our community so we are currently participating in The Angel Tree Prison Fellowship program whereby we provide Christmas gifts to children whose parent(s) are incarcerated (please read below if you are interested in supporting this well deserving charity).

We look forward to the upcoming New Year and hope that you continue to think of Insurance Resources for all your insurance needs. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays,  and a very Happy New Year to you and your family!

Your Condo Unit Needs Flood Insurance

Most condo unit owners think that the condominium association covers all losses as a result of a flood, but in his recent blog our agent, Brian T. Ford, CPCU, states why you may need to purchase both Building and Personal Property Flood coverage. Read the blog here!
Holiday Travel Safety

With the holiday season upon us, travel may be in our plans.  Here are some tips that will ensure your wellbeing during your trip.
  • Make sure to make a medication list, including generic names and dosage, to replace any lost or stolen prescriptions.
  • If you have severe allergies or medical conditions, wear a medical alert bracelet or ID and pack your prescribed Epi-pen in case of an emergency.
  • Pack presents in a carry-on luggage to ensure their arrival to the destination.  This will also allow for easier security check of the items.
  • Pack light and leave your valuables at home.
  • Make photocopies of your passports and the credit card you are bringing.  Leave a copy with someone trusted at home and bring the other with you separate of the original in case it is lost.
  • If you are driving to your destination, make sure your vehicle is properly maintained and all maintenance is up to date.
