I cannot believe November is here. We celebrate the end of the official hurricane season, with little damage to speak of and of course we celebrate the upcoming Thanksgiving season.
That being said, Thanksgiving can also bring on some unintended insurance issues. Please be mindful of everyone’s safety as you are cooking your feast. An unintended kitchen fire would surely spoil your celebration, as would a slip and fall incident. If you are entertaining, please take a few minutes to survey your home and to make sure it is as safe as is possible. If you have a pool or animals, take extra precautions, especially if children will be involved.
Thanksgiving is a time to offer thanks for all the blessings in our lives. We would like to take the opportunity to thank you, our clients, for your trust. We truly appreciate your confidence in our agency, and we humbly say: Thank You! We truly are blessed in so many ways.

If You Live in Florida, You Live in a Flood Zone!
Hurricane Matthew caused millions of dollars in flooding damage to the East coast of the United States. Unfortunately, many of the property owners that were affected did not have any insurance protection since they thought they were not in a flood zone. In our agent Brian Ford's latest blog, he shows you that even though your mortgage not require Flood insurance, it is a very smart idea to have Flood coverage (and the premiums are less expensive than you think).
