Congratulations to our Graduates!
Over the past few weeks, the sounds of laughter, giggles and Pomp and Circumstance have filled the air from Novato to Healdsburg as our NBCC preschool sites celebrated their students’ first academic milestone: their Preschool Graduation! 

Despite an incredibly challenging year, 175 children from our fourteen preschool locations are graduating from the North Bay Children’s Center and will be transitioning on to Kindergarten or TK programs prepared and ready to succeed.

Our sites are all celebrating in different ways. Some have held socially distant ceremonies with caps, gowns, and diplomas, while others conducted drive-through graduations. Parents have gone all out, decorating their cars and driving through as their child walks the rainbow runway to get their goodie bag and certificate!

Special feelings of joy and pride were felt among the teachers and families as they celebrated together, the first of many milestones to come in their academic careers. As we congratulate the 2021 class of preschool graduates, so full of excitement, it is important to take a moment to visualize them in the future, again in their caps and gowns, as they graduate high school excited and ready to seize their futures. We are so very proud of our students!

Summer Solstice and
Summertime in the Garden
June 20th marked the summer solstice, bringing sunshine and warmer weather with a change in seasons that beckons us to discover and explore the great outdoors. Preschoolers this month have been enjoying water play and are exploring their summertime gardens and the bounty they provide. This June children have been learning all about animals, discovering our planet’s amazing and unique creatures and learning to connect, respect, and be kind to all living things.
