Alaska Developers Alliance

Hey Developer Community!

Thanks for attending Mike Edgington's 8/28 talk on speech recognition. We've got some community housekeeping to take care of. First things first.
I've thrown a few options in there, however, I'm completely open to suggestions. I imagine something like the Golang Gopher where each sub group of the alliance can have their own rendition and we can make specific versions for events. Take survey below- this includes feedback questions for Mike Edgington.

Arctic Con - 10/4  9am - 6pm @ Anchorage Marriott

Arctic Con is upon us! Sorry for the short notice, however, it is THIS THURSDAY from 9am - 6pm. It's going to include a lineup of great speakers along with a bunch of villages ranging from lock-picking to webapps to "build a badge". They given us a coupon code for FREE entry valid for the first 40 people to sign up.

The longer term vision of the Alliance is coming together! We're now fully partnered with the VMware Users group (VMUG), the Fairbanks Dev Meetup, and we're working on partnerships with other organizations. If there is anyone else we should be talking with let us know!
