Primary News 2020/21
Issue 21

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Semester 2.

Although we’ve had a chilly start to the semester and new year, there has been nothing but warmth within the school building as students and teachers reconnect and get settled back into their learning and routines.

Despite there being some changes with class placements, we’ve had a very smooth start and continue to be grateful that we are able to do many of the things that we would ‘normally’ do. This sense of normality will help protect our children from some of the difficulties others are facing around the world.
We are fortunate that our school is one that many continue to choose within Shenzhen and we had 36 new students start this semester! Please welcome our new families and support them as they learn more about our school community.

Winter MAP Data
If you have a child in G2-5 and they completed the Winter MAP testing just before the break, you are able to log into the Gecko Portal and download the progress results for your child. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to contact your child’s homeroom teacher or Ms. Rebecca Wallace
After School Activities (ASA’s)
We have been excited to welcome so many of you into our ASA program and the breadth and depth of interest areas is fantastic to see. We are a talented community; sharing our skills and passions and we hope your children gain new skills and interests too!
