Pray for a Building

A building that has a kitchen with walk in refrigerators (so we can hand out more than 40,000 meals this year), classrooms for folks living on the streets to learn valuable skills, plenty of office space, and enough room left over for us to launch a culinary school from there in the future.

Most building are not going to have all that, so a warehouse or a building with an open floor plan is probably our best option.

We are hoping to secure this building before June, because in June we are launching "Homeless to Healthy” – a recovery program that takes folks living on the streets and teaches them the skills and habits they need to become a productive member of society – and we will need a building to host those “Homeless to Healthy” classes in.

So please keep this in your prayers (email David@StreetLifeMinistries.org if you can help in any way).

God bless you and we love you,

David J Shearin
Pastor/Executive Director at Street Life Ministries

P.S.: Little update on the “Homeless to Healthy” recovery program…

Eight organizations have agreed to partner with us in this new program and 1 of those 8 is LifeMoves. Dr. Greenberg (VP at LifeMoves) and the LifeMoves team have taken the time to learn about our new program and they are ALL IN. They get it and they understand why our homeless community needs this... fast forward a few weeks… and LifeMoves has offered to cover the housing and transportation of all members in this new program!
