Flood Resources on our Website!

Find all the latest updates and information on support available on the Social Futures website at our April 2017 Northern NSW Flood Resources page.

If you are in need of support or are looking to lend a hand in the community, you can find a list of resources as well as up-to-date information on our service operations.

The page contains Quick Links to information on Service Availability, Housing Support, Financial Support, Goods and Services, How to Help, Recovery Services Contact List; and Lismore City Council Flood Information.

We Need Your Support!

We have launched a Social Futures Flood Appeal – funds will be directed to Connecting Home, headspace and The Clubhouse.
The flood event on the 31st of March has had a devastating impact on our organisation and the wider community.
With buildings inundated with water across the Lismore CBD our ability to deliver crucial services has been severely impacted. Our youth services, headspace and The Lismore Clubhouse, have both suffered significant equipment loss, while we are seeing greater need with our homelessness service Connecting Home.
We would greatly appreciate donations to enable us to get headspace, The Lismore Clubhouse and Connecting Home services operating and supporting our community as soon as possible.
Although we did have insurance we are unable to claim as the disaster is classified “An act of God ‘ and not covered under normal insurance conditions. As such, any financial donations are very gratefully received.
All donations over $2 are tax deductible and receipts are provided. Please scroll below to find out more about making a donation.
We would be hugely grateful if you could send this link far and wide through your networks. http://socialfutures.org.au/donate/
