Social Futures says ‘I DO’

to Marriage Equality

As a social justice organisation Social Futures see Marriage Equality as one of human rights and equality for all and is actively supporting the Yes Campaign. The law, as it currently stands, is discriminatory and it is up to communities like ours to make sure that there is an overwhelming vote for YES.

We have collected images, stories and footage of just a sample of the many Social Futures staff who have volunteered to say why they are voting yes. In addition, a bunch of Social Futures staff took a stroll in the sunshine to support the Yes Campaigners stage a gloriously vibrant and fun pop-up postal demonstration outside Lismore Post Office in Conway Street in Lismore last Friday 22 September.

Over the upcoming weeks, we’re running a campaign on our website and Facebook Page encouraging people to use their vote. We have also uploaded ten 30-second films from just a small sample of our staff and participants, explaining why they’re voting YES. Go to www.socialfutures.org.au to see the films.
