Western MA Tango, a collective of former TangoPulse Assistants and passionate community members, has come together to make sure tango in our area continues to thrive. Therefore, we are committed to working with members of the local community to make ensure that quality events continue on the 3rd Saturday of each month, and every Sunday in our area!

Here is our Mission:

Collaborating with community members
to maintain our warm, welcoming tango family
in western Massachusetts, and
to create opportunities for the exploration of this dance we love.

We want to hear from you...

To help us with this, we are asking members of our community to answer an anonymous quick 10-question survey that will help us better serve our tango family in western Massachusetts, and understand what you want the most. Please take a moment to help:

What's Next?

Below, you will find information on what we have planned for October. Our events are at interim venues as we set up our permanent venues.
We hope you will join us, and help us spread the word so that our wonderful community continues to be a center for studying, dancing and exploring tango in the northeast!

Announcing the
Community Tango Lab!

Every Sunday, Western MA Tango will collaborate with volunteers from the local community to offer a practica with a twist!

What does this mean? You will always find 2-4 dedicated co-hosts at the Community Tango Lab! Plus, some weeks we will feature a "twist" (i.e. topic for exploration) at the beginning of the evening, and multiple "guides" (the co-hosts) to offer support to those who want to dig deeper into this topic.

Want to just come and dance? There is no obligation to participate. The Community Tango Lab is for everyone!

7 - 9pm; (Topic presentation from 7 - 7:15pm, no addt'l charge)

Interim location:
During this transition time, we will be at:
"Studio 116"
460 West St. (Rt. 116), South Amherst, MA
(behind Moan & Dove to the right side)

Prices will be set when we have the venue arranged.
