What put that smile on my face

Dear <<First Name>>
Last weekend, 3-4-5 March, I've been performing my new work '3 is a crowd' at Café Theater Festival with my lovely team. What a great roller-coaster ride we took: performing 8 times in total at Café Lucas Utrecht, receiving warm and kind comments from a happy audience and on top of that we received a 4-star review by Boukje Cnossen on Theaterkrant.nl. You can read the Dutch review right here!

And there is even more good news, because my other new upcoming project with the new title 'We are the everlasting guests' received support of the AFK (Amsterdams Fonds voor de Kunsten). We will start creating this live music & contemporary dance performance from next week on.

Did you get curious about both choreographies?
Lucky you ;) because we will perform both works in a double bill on 22 & 23 April at Oostblok theater Amsterdam. Read more about each performance below and book your ticket(s) right here. I hope to see you there!

Warm wishes,
Sanne

About '3 IS A CROWD'

A site-specific dance performance where slightly changing situations reveal moments of awkwardness, harmony, dependence and separation, while longing for connection. When do we really need each other and where does it go wrong? Three dancers research how to connect and disconnect with each other, the space and their audience.

Concept & choreography: Sanne Clifford
Dance & co-creation: Hayley Adams, Sanne Clifford & Anastasia Kostner. Music: Amir Swaab
Dramaturgy/coaching: Jordi Ribot Thunnissen

We are the Everlasting Guests

An interdisciplinary performance with contemporary dance, text and live music where 3 dancers and 3 musicians start a journey about the restless human being seeking for 'the right to stay'. Their attempts come from instinctive and intuitive responses and habits, while they are trying to find solid ground and trustful connection among each other.

Choreography & dance: Sanne Clifford, Hayley Adams & Camilla Bundel
Composition & music: Iman Spaargaren, Guillermo Celano & Robin van Rhijn
