Help us make the match!
Over 70% raised so far - thank you!

Since 2011, the National Music Festival has provided a tuition-free, immersive classical music learning experience for up-and-coming instrumentalists and conductors. This year we added a new vocal apprentice program. Many apprentices tell us that they could not possibly attend NMF if tuition were charged.

A generous donor and several board members have pledged $30,000 if it’s matched by your contributions by June 15, the last day of this year’s Festival. We have raised a little over 70% of the total and we need your help to make the match! Please consider making a tax-deductible gift to NMF. Our future apprentices will thank you!

Thank you Emmanuel Episcopal Church!
NMF extends a huge thank you to our friends at Emmanuel Episcopal Church for another year of feeding hungry musicians! We are so grateful to all of the volunteers from Emmanuel and other local churches who took on the herculean task of serving about 100 lunches per day! The NMF musicians appreciate what you do to make their time in Chestertown so enjoyable.

Thank you!

Take a Break!

We are grateful to the community organizations that provided rehearsal snacks for NMF's hardworking musicians through the Hospitality Committee’s Take a Break program during the second week of the Festival!

Monday/Tuesday: Heron Point
Wednesday: Democratic Club of Kent County
Thursday: Shrewsbury Parish of the Episcopal Church
Friday: NMF Hospitality Committee
Saturday: All Seasons Garden Club

Thank you to Unity Church Hill Nursery for providing flowers and American Legion Post 36 for providing the venue for the musicians' picnic.
