Planning for 2016 

Is it me or did Christmas start right after Halloween this year? A part of me wants to tip my hat to the retailers that have come into the holiday season with a good plan to strike early. The other part of me wants to wait until after Thanksgiving to be bombarded with all of the holiday marketing efforts.

Either way you look at it is that time of year and it is also time to get our marketing budgets and plans finalized for 2016.  Here are some ideas from MarketLift that you might want to include in your Marketing Plan for 2016 from MarketLift:
  • Plan a Press Event – webinar, open house or product launch
  • Add one more way to get prospects to opt-in to your newsletters or blogs
  • Consider a charity event to give-back to your community and add positive PR
  • Create a testimonial library from your satisfied customers
  • Update that old brochure
  • Create a list of company milestones for 2016 PR
