Congratulations to A1C Michael Jones (Air Force), MC3 Cody Howell (NAVY), and Samuel Jacob Hartley (ARMY). They are students of the Defense Information School of Fort Meade in Maryland and created a mini-documentary featuring Citizen Pride. It was selected 1st place from 10 others submitted. We enjoyed the entire process and feel honored to have been part of the project.

PROUD SHOUTS

One of the biggest boats you’ll see docked in Annapolis this time of year is the 130-foot yacht named “Winning Drive.” It’s owned by Baltimore Ravens owner, Steve Bisciotti, and spotted recently flying from the mast was our Citizen Pride Raven Flag! Even though unofficial, we consider it quite an endorsement. It’s definitely an honor for us.

Today marks the first week of completion for the 1,185 new United States Naval Academy plebes, class of 2020. Congratulations to these outstanding, young adults!

Commissioned by the USNA class of 1966, Joe Barsin will create an original illustration to be revealed this October in time for their 50th Anniversary, class reunion. Joe had the pleasure of touring the Naval Academy recently with alumni, Jim Galvin, to discuss what he remembered most from his time there as a Midshipmen.

On July 15, Local by Design will be hosting a fundraiser for the Annapolis Maritime Museum. This is a perfect opportunity to see this beautiful new boutique in Annapolis while enjoying food, drinks, music and chances to win amazing raffle items while meeting the artists who are represented there. A special thanks to our two sons, Robby & James, for lending a hand and working in our booth at HONfest. We met a lot of great people in Baltimore. Consider going to this fun festival next year, it’s a hoot, Hon!
