BIGVISION EVENTS UPDATE

As summer winds down, we would like to share what we have been up to these past few months! In addition to hosting a wide variety of fun events, we have been making great strides to reduce the stigma associated with substance abuse disorders with our partnerships and collaborations in the recovery community!

EXHILARATION...
In June, we went back to the track for our third Pole Position Raceway event. It was great to see some new faces experience the exhilaration of the track for the first time!

LIFE SKILLS...
We had our first Healthy Supermarket Tour with chefs Wendy Schwartz and Elizabeth Kent. They helped us navigate the aisles of the supermarket to make healthy and economical choices while shopping for ourselves. A crucial life skill that everyone can benefit from!

MEANINGFUL MEMORIES...
On June 23rd we hosted our 2nd Annual Basketball Bash in honor of Isaac’s 26th birthday. Basketball was Isaac’s passion, and we all had an amazing time celebrating his life. Over a hundred individuals joined us for an evening of basketball competition, skills and challenges, dinner and raffles. A huge thank you to everyone that helped make this day a huge success, including all those who participated and donated, without whom this day could not have been possible.

PARTNERSHIPS AND COLLABORATIONS...
On July 19th, BIGVISION and Caron NY teamed up to host a historic meeting with a group of individuals from the recovery community. We aim to make BIGVISION a part of every after care plan as we continue to connect with and strengthen our relationships among our community.
