Weaning management
Weaning is a stressful time for calves. Calves become more susceptible to disease at this time and it is often noticed that thrive and growth rates are reduced. Why does this happen and what can be done to provide a smooth transition through the weaning period ? Click here for more info
Mastitis
Hygiene in the pit area and a well-balanced diet is crucial to reduce the risk of increased cell count. A strict hygiene management and a balanced diet with feed additives can greatly reduce the incidence of mastitis and increased somatic cell count. The risk of contamination is thus reduced and the immunity of the cow is optimized.
