Farewell from Merville Organics

Shout out to our outgoing member- Merville Organics

The members of Merville Organics Growers Co-op have decided to disband. This is mainly due to the huge success of the co-op. It’s been a five year stretch of supporting small, developing farms in selling and distributing their produce through a steadily expanding CSA program and farmers market sales. The three farms involved have expanded so much that they feel it is time to concentrate their efforts on developing their own farm business.

When Merville Organics became a member of BC Eco Seed Co-op, there were a few farmer members who were interested in branching out into seed production. Unfortunately, the three remaining farm members have not made any moves towards seed production and so they've decided to let this membership go. "Thanks for your support and co-op comradery along the way! We wish the Seed Co-op all kinds of success," Merville shared in a recent message.

To the Merville team- thank you for your hard work and co-operation along our journey together and wishing you all of the success in your next chapter!
