ARCH News / July 2018

Connected Health and Independent Living is a key priority for the first call under the government's new €500m Disruptive Technologies
Innovation Fund

ARCH is ideally placed to lead a Connected Health project proposal for this funding. With each proposal requiring an SME partner, this could be an ideal opportunity for your organisation to piggyback on our vast connected health education and research infrastructure. With minimum funding of €1m available over three years,  large-scale projects between €5 – €10m total cost, inclusive of enterprise co-funding, are encouraged.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 17th August 2018 so contact us now at to explore how we can collaborate.

ARCH Events

Facilitated by our recent workshop  Don't Tell Me, Show Me! demonstrated the tools, tactics and inside line of creating better user experiences.  With a mix of inspiration sessions and practical activities everybody had the opportunity to apply visualisation and prototyping techniques to bring patient-centered design and research-based innovation to life.

Our Workshops and other dissemination events are a great way for external stakeholders to meet our researchers, new and established, and to chat about areas of interest that could form the basis of research proposals.  We are currently putting together our schedule of autumn events so watch this space.
