Superconducting magnet has arrived

The superconducting magnet will enable record plasma exposures in Magnum-PSI, the facility for plasma-wall interactions under fusion reactor conditions.

Read more about the magnet and it's installation here.

Ion Beam Facility has started up

The Ion Beam Facility will allow DIFFER to follow the evolving properties and reactions in materials for fusion and solar fuels.

Read more about the facility here.

Start of the Pilot-PSI Upgrade project

Pilot-PSI Upgrade will deliver new insights in the real-time dynamics of how materials react to a plasma.

Read more about this project here.

Two NWO grants for solar fuel research

Research teams at DIFFER have been awarded two of the eight research grants in the NWO programme Solar to Products.

Read more about the grants here.

Simulation of photo-electrochemical interfaces

In the journal ChemSusChem, DIFFER scientists review modeling and simulation methods and approaches in the field of photo-electrochemical water splitting.

Read more about their research here.

Multidisciplinarity is key
for the energy transition

During the Topsector Energy Conference 2016, DIFFER's Erik Langereis led a brainstorm on multidisciplinary approaches to sustainable energy.
