Local Farm Events

Dayspring Farm in Altamont will be hosting the Soil Conservation Service Open House on Friday, October 9, and they would like to invite the public to come and see what they do on their farm.  The open house will start at 10 am and is free to the public. More information will be available soon.

Submit your picture and a brief explanation (if needed) to the Rooted Here Board between now and October 11th. We’ll display your picture on our website. After all submissions have been collected, we’ll let you vote on your favorites. The winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to the South Cumberland Farmer’s Market.

The Son and the Starrs have added Sugar Free products this week in addition to their many other goodies.

Farmer Brown's will have hydroponic lettuce listed this week. The Bibb lettuce is too small, but they have an excellent selection of the others.
