Customer Survey Results

Thanks to everyone who participated in taking our customer survey. We learned a lot and appreciate the feedback, constructive criticism and excellent ideas! We'll work with these to continue to improve our market.

I wanted to address a few easy questions that came up. Rooted Here is the online market (South Cumberland Farmer's Market) and the food hub (South Cumberland Food Hub) - it's all the same thing. We started as just the online market then grew to include the food hub. It got a bit confusing with so many names so we have been working to re-brand ourselves as just Rooted Here. If that has been confusing, we apologize, gives a good explanation of all that we do. Rest assured though, it's the same online market (same old website - with the same great local stuff.

There were also a lot of comments about the Saturday market and our relationship with that market. We hold our market on Tuesdays so that our growers can participate in both markets and so that we can complement, and not compete with, the Saturday market. We welcome new ideas for collaboration with this and other area markets.

Please keep the feedback coming - we rely on you to tell us what you want. If you'd like to take more of a leadership role in Rooted Here, we welcome that as well. Membership is open to all and includes the privilege of voting to shape the organization.

If you are a grower, a survey specifically for you will be coming soon.
