Deep Winter Doldrums

The end of February and beginning of March is not technically the middle of winter but as far as local vegetables are concerned, it is the absolute slowest part of the year. The good news is that the daffodils are up and the grass is starting to grow. In the mean time we are pleased to be able to continue to provide local proteins and baked goods.

Cove Creek Farm from Tracy City has eggs listed on the market this week.

We welcome Paccman Ranch from Tullahoma. They have local Kobe style beef for sale.

This is the last week to save $25 on a CSA share from White City Produce in Tracy City. Tami says that she has also added summer shares to the market. These will be available until March 30th.

Jess Wilson from Summer Fields in Monteagle says that she will have lamb available again the second week in March.
