Latest News

Last year was a particularly busy year for CoreRFID and most of you will be aware that we were named one of the fastest growing tech companies in the North at the Northern Tech Awards. We have seen particular growth in the number of customers joining us in Ireland. We are delighted to announce that ESB Generation and Wholesale Market Division (G&WM) has chosen our CheckedOK system to manage inspections and create inspection certificates.  The RFID based system is similar to the one already in use by ESB Networks, although it has been modified to meet the specific requirements of the G&WM division.

There have also been some key successes for CoreRFID in the Manufacturing Industry. We are seeing a growing number of organisations turning to RFID to improve efficiency throughout the manufacturing process.  Organisations such as Syngenta and MX Group are using RFID Asset Tracking to provide Live Inventory Status and optimise the Just-In-Time process.
Another exciting development we are working on at present is digital ordering.  The new system enables Android tablets to read barcodes on-site and send orders to be processed immediately. Portable NFC printers enable receipts to be printed on-site, removing all the usual delays associated with paper orders and invoicing.

CheckedOK

Our CheckedOK system has continued to go from strength to strength and we were delighted to have received so many enquiries at the Liftex event in November.  We ended the year with Street CraneXpress extending their current inspection system to their Crane Servicing Division.  We have continued to enhance the CheckedOK system over the last year and the new users at Street CraneXpress will be accessing the system via Windows tablets, which accommodate the large service sheets used by this department.
Shop
Further to the launch of our website back in September, we are now working hard on improving our on-line shop.  We want to improve the customer experience and if there is anything which you feel you would like to see on there then please e-mail us your feedback.
We have added new stock recently, the latest addition being a tiny PCB tag, which although being very thin still has a very high temperature tolerance.

RFID Expertise

RFID continues to present challenges to companies trying to put it to use. The difference between success and failure in projects often comes from understanding the limitations of the technology and how to overcome them. Our technical team evaluates new products and tests them against real world requirements. This allows us to guide our customers in their choice of technology. Customers such as Park House Healthcare identified RFID as the best option to improve the management and traceability of their specialist equipment but the hardware needed to withstand the harsh conditions of regular decontamination.  Not familiar with the complicated field of RFID, Park House Healthcare turned to CoreRFID.  Our experience over the last 20 years makes us best placed to understand what works and what doesn’t.  Although they chose to develop their own automated system, when looking for RFID technology, they decided to leave it to the experts.
