New tool: serialist-grammar

A few weeks ago, I attended the International Conference on Live Coding at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The opening day workshops inspired me to design a new grammar and parser for the expression and transformation of rows in serial music composition. The resulting JavaScript library is called serialist-grammar and is available for free on Github and npm.

Patreon campaign

Today I'm launching a Patreon campaign to help support my work developing new tools for sound artists. My current projects include a completely new version of my WebX0X web audio drum synthesizer and sequencer, and a live coding environment based on serialist-grammar. Your contribution will help cover the time and cost of continuing this work.

$1 per month will give you access to the Irritant Creative Slack channel, regular progress updates and my thanks and appreciation for supporting the development of new music software. I plan to add more reward levels in the near future, so stay tuned.

All the best,

Tony Wallace
