Ministry & Family Updates
The month of March seemed to come and go in the blink of an eye. It seems that only yesterday Ryan was waiting in anticipation for his birthday (March 8) and now it's long gone. This month was very difficult to separate ministry and family updates, hence the heading above. Since two-thirds of our ministry team is family, the recent passing of Abigail's Poppaw had a profound effect on ministry activity. The time spent grieving with family and friends has been both exhausting and healing as we celebrate such a godly example of a follower of Christ, husband, father and grandfather. Although the time we had with him has come to an end, we are excited to continue doing what he loved to do, walk with Jesus and help others to do the same.
March was filled with preparation for our upcoming journey to La Paz in May as well as initial planning for a journey to Bolivia in November (details will be announced soon!!). We are so excited for what God is already doing in the villages we will be working in this May. Our in-country leaders have reported nothing but good things in the villages we've already worked with and great potential for the villages we have yet to work with. Training of the journey team has been progressing well and we are so excited to see many of the participants using the training in their daily lives and not just waiting until our missionary journey! Ryan has also recently taken on greater responsibility for the financial administration of New Life Global Ministries which has added another element to his daily routine.
