Weekly Newsletter Oct. 15th to 21st

We're pleased to deliver our weekly news from The Table.  It is meant to keep you informed of the immediate happenings in the life of our community, as well as a celebration of some of the things that have recently happened.

As always, we look forward to seeing you on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. for Christian Education, and 11 a.m. for Worship.
Worship This Week
Sermon:  Subverting Norms
Scripture:  Mark 10:35-45
Sermon by: Rev. Joshua Toulouse
Songs for Worship
Each week, we will provide a list of the songs we will be singing at worship, with links for the new ones so you can listen to them on youtube before the service (keep in mind, if a song sounds kind of rock-ish in the video, it won't on Sunday).  Hopefully, this will give you a chance to hear the songs, so you can pick them up more easily during the service.

Rev. Toulouse’s weekly Bible study has started up again and will be held every Thursday at 3pm.  Come and grow in faith and fellowship!

Treats for Teachers - Due in November

The Table has partnered with West Haven Elementary School to, among other things, provide treats for the teacher’s lounge each month.  We are looking for anything given to be packaged, so either pre-packaged treats or in baggies if you bake something.  The next round of treats is due in November, so help put a smile on some tired teacher’s faces!

Trunk or Treat

We will hold our annual Trunk or Treat on October 28th from 5-7pm.  Come and decorate your trunks and get ready to give out candy to our neighborhood’s kids!
