Project Mañana Launches the Institute for Authentic Womanhood™
Mike Broyles (left) and Dr. Kristi Miller (right) with the warden
Project Mañana is excited toreport the inauguration of our Institute for Authentic Womanhood.™ It has been our desire to reach the women in the Dominican prisons for many years, but we were missing the correct leader for this ministry. Thankfully, through a series of events, Project Mañana’s leadership reconnected with an old friend who showed passion for prison ministry and the opportunity was born. Thanks to our God who blessed us with the correct person, Kassie Marie Marte!
We had an amazing inauguration party at one of the women's centers in Santiago. During this time, we were blessed to have the presence of Mike Broyles (Executive Director of Awana Lifeline) & Dr. Kristi Miller (Assistant Warden at the Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women). Both of these leaders have been instrumental in their inspiration of our prison work. We are extra grateful for Dr. Miller’s presence with us. She is the creator of Hannah’s Gift, the program we are using in the Institute for Authentic Womanhood.™ We are excited for the many changed lives that are to come through these efforts and we appreciate your prayers for us and your support of our Prison Project.
Project Mañana's Sister School Comes to Visit!
Cincinnati Christian School Team
Project Mañana is excited to announce the visit to our school from our friends at Cincinnati Christian School. We all had a blast together as they worked hard on building one of our teacher’s houses, taught workshops to our students, served in our Nutrition Center, distributed water filters to an impoverished community, and played with the children.
We were so grateful for their presence here in the Dominican Republic -- and it definitely brought many smiles to our students’ faces!
We thank the Lord for giving us such a dedicated sister school and we pray many blessings for all of them and their families.

Project Mañana Expands Its Clean Water Project To A New Community
As we announced in later 2016, Project Mañana has successfully distributed clean water filters to 100% of the families living in the community of San Pablo. These water filters are currently producing 22.5 MILLION gallons of clean drinking water each year.
Achieving this goal has allowed Project Mañana to expand its distribution efforts into the community of El Copey and now into the another highly-impoverished community known as Cienfuegos ("100 Fires").
Cienfuegos is one of the poorest communities in Santiago, Dominican Republic and Project Mañana has committed to delivering a clean water filter to 100% of the community's residences (hundreds of families).
So far, we have distributed clean water filters to nearly 50 families. Through our distribution efforts, we have seen cases of cholera and other diseases produced by the consumption of contaminated water.
We are excited to meet this very real need (and share Jesus' love) to the people in the community of Cienfuegos.

Project Mañana was grateful to host a team from Back2Back Ministries for a valuable training on how to properly care for children with trauma.
During their six-day trip, the team from Back2Back Ministries provided valuable resources and life altering knowledge to many professional social workers from a few different Dominican cities and organizations.
All of Project Mañana’s staff who work with children participated in this important training; and have already implemented many of the techniques which they learned at Project Mañana's Nutrition Center and private school.
We are very grateful for our friends at Back2Back Ministries and hope that the Lord continues to bless them as they tirelessly work to provide children with trauma a bright and healthy future.
3rd Annual Women's Encounter Was A Huge Success!
On March 31, 2017, ProjectMañana hosted its 3rd annual Women’s Encounter & Conference in community of San Pablo, Dominican Republic.
Throughout the past year, 40 Dominican women and 10 American women have been reading and discussing an amazing book called “Twelve Extraordinary Women” by John McArthur.
They came together to celebrate God’s grace in their lives and to share powerful messages and personal stories surrounding the book’s themes.
The three-day encounter culminated with a swanky celebration where the women put on their fanciest clothes and enjoyed refreshments, dessert, and even a chocolate fountain!
We would like to extend a special thank you to the women of Center Pointe Christian Church (Ohio) and Covenant Community Fellowship (Indiana) who came to participate in this important event for the community of San Pablo.

The Institute of Authentic Manhood™ is now serving in the following cities:

The life change brought about by the Institute for Authentic Manhood™ and its programs are tangible in the lives of over 4,000 men and women who have graduation the program over the last 6 years.
We are pleased and encouraged to continue this work all over the Dominican Republic and could not be happier that we have been given this responsibility by the highest-level of the Dominican authorities.

Project Mañana Needs Your Help!
Project Mañana is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to sharing the gospel and break the cycle of poverty by investing in impoverished children, their families and communities through clean water, nutrition, education, and discipling projects.
We achieve our goals through charitable donations and child sponsorship, which unites children in need with individual sponsors who wish to address the children's immediate and basic needs. Sponsorship gives poor children the tools and opportunities necessary for success by providing benefits and supporting programs for each child - primarily in the areas of education and nutrition.
