LFF wraps up in Bowral tomorrow!
The St.George Lebanese Film Festival wraps up in Bowral tomorrow afternoon. After a record breaking year, we invite you to join us in the beautiful Southern Highlands.
Philippe Aractingi's Listen screened in Sydney earlier in the program. The film touches on Lebanon's sectarianism and rigid family structures. Don't miss this fantastic romantic drama with its beautiful cinematography across Beirut and Mount Lebanon.
Joud, a handsome sound engineer falls in love with strong and free-spirited Rana, who comes from a different social and religious background. A drastic turn of events gets between them and Rana suddenly slips away. As her parents forbid Joud from seeing her, he creatively finds a way of communicating with her.
The St.George Bank Lebanese Film Festival screening of LISTEN takes place on Saturday afternoon, 16 November at 4.30pm at the Empire Cinemas in Bowral.
