Attention teachers of non-native speakers of English: Registration is now open for the Pronunciation Study Circle taking place in the Metro area this spring! If your students struggle with pronunciation and intelligibility and you're not sure how to help them, then this interactive, collaborative study circle is for you! Teachers of all levels of English proficiency are welcome, as are novice teachers and those with limited phonology experience. Meetings dates are April 26, May 10, May 24 (all Fridays) from 1:00-4:00 pm. Registration is limited, so register now! >>

Do you work with low-level ELLs (with CASAS scores of roughly 180-195)? Do you sometimes struggle with integrating content standards, like ACES/TIF, into your lesson plans? Do you wonder how to deliver rigorous content without overwhelming your learners?

Tune in to the
ACES webinar on April 23 from 2:00-3:30 pm, and hear from teachers who intentionally integrate ACES/TIF in their low-level ELL classes on a regular basis. Find out how to choose ACES skills to focus on when planning a lesson, and design activities that are appropriately challenging.
