Navigator's Log: January 2016
2016: Let's get personal.
I’m excited about the new year starting.  All of the potential, all of the opportunity, but mostly all of the client successes we are witnessing. We’ve seen many of you grow and transform during the past year with technology being a strategic driver.  This is why SouthTech exists, to be your IT Navigator and find the best way to utilize technology to reach your goals. 

I’m also excited about what our team accomplished during 2015. Our Client Care Team is stronger than ever.  They increased their answer rate over 6%, reduced the time to answer by more than 45% and took more calls than ever during the year.   Our Centralized Services Team, the group taking care of issues without you knowing it, handled over 35,000 tickets.  Who knows how much down-time this saved, but I know it is a monster number of hours.  We added Client Account Managers to help in communications, we held more strategic planning meetings and became a leading telecom provider.  During all of this, our team continued their education and passed over 40 certification exams.  I could not be more proud to work with such a great group of professionals dedicated to excellent service.

So, what is planned for 2016? We believe the better we understand your company and the better you know SouthTech, the better we can drive success for both of us.  So, we want to get even more personal. This is not new for us, but we can always improve in our communications.  We want to meet and talk even more.  We want to understand your business even more.  We want to help you and your employees accomplish your goals using technology even more.  As threats increase, we want to protect your valuable data assets even more.  We want you to use the resources of SouthTech more strategically, we have over 400 years of technology experience available to you. 

We are going to start writing more of our own blogs, news and LinkedIn articles.  You will see a new personal website where we can communicate.  You will see our continued commitment to improve our services and have a team that understands your specific needs.  We will provide more strategic and educational information that you and your employees can use.  And, we will continue supporting our team in their efforts to learn more technologies and keep up-to-date in this ever-changing industry. 
We want this to be personal, where you have no doubt in our commitment and that our focus is what is best for you as your trusted technology advisor, or IT Navigator, and you are excited to tell others about your relationship with SouthTech. 

So we have a lot planned, even a new format of this newsletter starting next month.  So, my number is 941-953-7455 x 302 and it routes to my cell.  And, if you ever want to chat, the coffee is on me. Let’s get personal.
