CE and Virtual Programs
In the March 2020 issue of FSP Focus, we provided information and ideas for alternative ways to hold meetings and offer CE. Click here to view that info. To follow up on that, we wanted to provide some additional information regarding applying for CE credits for those chapters that may be offering webinars and virtual events.
If you are already a CE provider and want to offer CE credits for your webinar or virtual event, reach out to the state to find out what the requirements are. And be sure the webinar platform you choose can handle those requirements. Typical requirements are:
- Documenting when someone logged in and out
- Documenting that attendees are paying attention throughout the webinar (using a polling feature or something as simple as verbal CE codes that attendees write down)
- Ability for attendees to ask questions of the presenter during the webinar

We are also in the process of creating a list of recommended speakers and topics for webinars/virtual meetings. That list will be added to the FSPLeadership.org website soon.
