MAJOR INCIDENT PLAN
We know you know but it's always good to have a reminder of the truly amazing and bespoke Member Benefit – the ADCH Emergency Helpline or Crisis Helpline. Hopefully none of us will ever never need to use it but should a catastrophic event happen, it's comforting to know you're not alone and that help and support from the ADCH is only a telephone call away.
Whilst help is always welcomed, it also needs to be timely and appropriate. And so with just one phone call – 01480 832820 - you can rest assured that help will be mustered and co-ordinated from within the ADCH should a catastrophic event happen.
Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, you can be confident that where you have a need for immediate help because of a fire or flood, or some other catastrophic event, the ADCH will be there to help.
Please put the number 01480 832820 into your Emergency Contacts list to be sure that you have it to hand should you need it.
Should ever you contact us through the Emergency Helpline you will be asked to provide some basic details, including your contact details. This information will be passed on to the ADCH Management Committee for their action.
Alongside the Helpline, a number of template documents have been developed, and they have been devised to help you structure a Plan should a disaster strike. These range from a 10-Minute Checklist to Emergency Contact templates. All are located on the ADCH Website in the Forum/documentation section.
The background to the Helpline and support documents can be accessed through the "Launchpad". By following the link https://shar.es/1edYCR you'll be able to find the reasons why you should consider planning for a disaster.
The templates and Emergency Helpline are only just the start. The ADCH would like to foster local support networks as well as develop still further more templates. Feedback is always welcome and helpful so if you have any please send it directly to Clive.Byles@Woodgreen.org.uk.
