ADCG : Association of Dogs and Cats Homes

April 2016

Dear Colleague,

2016 CONFERENCE FEEDBACK  (this will take you 3 mins to complete)
Following the hugely successful annual conference we are delighted that we have received well over 230 feedback forms.  Do keep them coming as your feedback will help us be even better next year! - deadline Friday 29th April 9am.  If you haven't yet completed your Conference Feedback - please click here.
MEMBER BENEFIT - Opportunity for Cash Support for returning two pieces of key information
It was announced at the conference that through the kind support of our friends at Mars Pedigree we are able to offer 6 cash prizes (4 x £1,000 and 2 x £500) for members who have contributed to two of our key strategic priorities - the Code of Practice Self  Assessment and the 2016 Member Survey. Here's your opportunity to be in with a chance of receiving one of those awards.
THE 2016 MEMBER SURVEY - this vital data gathering survey will be coming out very shortly (in early May) and we will be asking you to complete it by Tuesday 31st May.
The survey is hugely important to each of us, ADCH as a collective and moreover, the wider sector, the public and the media. The data we gather as the national membership body for so many rescue and rehoming centres will be anonomised and used in two very important ways (i)  it will enable ADCH to become the most comprehensive source of welfare data and statistics anywhere and this enables us to be a more effective and influential voice for animals and welfare reform. (ii) it enables us to map out which parts of the country face particular problems,  where our members are situated and how we might better attract new corporate suppliers, sponsors and experts to work with us and offer targeted support.
We know you're busy but we really need you to return your annual survey before the end of May. It'll take you around 10 minutes and you'll need to have your stats to hand but it's easy and straightforward and your rescue could win £1000 or £500 just for taking the time to do something that will really help all of us.
The link to the Member Survey will be coming out to you in the next seven days - keep a look out for it in your inbox.
Three names will be pulled out of the hat in early June and cheques presented at the July Open Meeting in North Clwyd or we'll send it through the post if you can't come to Wales.
We are still waiting for several members to complete their CoP Self Assessment - this is extremely important as we need to benchmark the entire Association if we are to be able to accurately understand where members need the most help and support and if we are to create funding and assistance packages. We can't do this without everyone Full & Associates completing the Self Assessment. There are only a few members now who haven't done it. Please don't be one of those groups, as we will keep chasing you.
Click here for the Assessment Form
All those who have completed and submitted their Code of Practice Self Assessment to  by Tuesday 31st May will be included in the prize draw for 3 cash prizes £1000, £1000 and £500.
As above, three names will be pulled out of the hat in early June and cheques presented in North Clwyd or sent through the post.
