Firstly – a reminder that as per our earlier message of 21st March we will not be forwarding Farm Watch messages to you after the 31st March.  This is to assist us keep within our cost-free allocation of 10,000 messages per month (not 1,000 as previously stated).
We would urge you therefore to register direct with the police so that you continue to receive Farm Watch information.  To do this, please download and complete the registration form via the Green bar below before 31st March 2021.

Generator stolen Chandlers Lane Edington

21st to 28th March suspects have crossed fields to stables at the rear of a farm. Cut padlocks and inside stolen a blue Honda generator. They have carried the generator across the field to get away. Attempted theft of a trailer West Newton

On 28th March between 8am and 230pm there was an attempted theft of a trailer West newton. Trailer hitched to the owners car. Items removed from the trailer and dumped in readiness for the theft. Any information to 101 quote 5221066277. Record chassis plates and photos of items should they get stolen the Police will want this info quickly.

Hare coursing/ Poaching

At 9am on 27/03/2021 two males were disturbed in a silver Landrover in the Ubbley Warren/ Velvet Bottom area coursing hares with a lurcher and terriers. Please keep gates secure and report any suspicious activity to 101 or 999 depending on emergency

Hydraulic breakers stolen

Overnight 22/03 – 23/03 Unknown offenders have entered a site located on Lower New Road, Cheddar and stolen 2 X Hydraulic breakers from within a mini digger tracks. The mini digger was mounted on a trailer overnight within the site. Any information please call 101 quoting – 5221062045
