MISSION REPORT #1: EUNICE KIM

Our sister, Eunice Kim, is serving with HNGR in the Philippines and here is her first update including several pics! Let's cover her in prayer as she will be there for four more months! CLICK IMAGE (Above) or HERE read her update.

PRAYER REQUESTS:
1. My coworkers’ son desperately needs a kidney transplant, but all she can afford is to send him to very expensive dialysis treatments three hours away in the nearest city twice a week. Please pray for his healing and for their finances as they figure out what to do long-term.
2. Although I have many people caring for me and loving me, I have yet to find someone I can call a close friend here. Please pray against loneliness while I try to immerse into this community, and for boldness to initiate creating deeper relationships with people here.
3.Please pray for my physical strength during times I struggle with the heat, and when I feel too tired to wake up in early mornings.
4. It feels that my Tagalog learning has plateaued, and I am still far from being able to communicate deeply with people. Please pray for wisdom and perseverance to not give up learning and teaching myself this language.
5. There is a large Muslim community here that I feel the Christian community knows very little how to engage with. Please pray that God would allow divinely appointed opportunities for Luke Society and Lighthouse Baptist Church to build lasting relationships with them and minister to them effectively.
6. Please pray for my coworker’s five-year old son, who is spiritually oppressed and often cannot physically speak when he’s under spiritually dark influences. Please pray that he will encounter Jesus, and thus gain freedom from such oppression.
