**The nursery will not be open on Christmas Eve. The cry room just outside the sanctuary will be available if needed.

Office Closed
The church office will be closed from noon on Christmas Eve through Christmas Day. Merry Christmas!

Service Times
Next Sunday, January 3rd services will return to 8:30 & 11 AM with children's Sunday School and Adult Bible classes at 9:45 AM. The nursery will be available all morning for 0-2 year olds. 

Children's Church
Children’s Church returns Sunday, January 3rd. Children will be dismissed for Children’s Church from the second service (around 11:30) following worship each Sunday. Age three through kindergarten meet in the nursery playroom. First through Fifth graders meet in room 127.

Children Sunday School and Adult Bible Classes will resume at 9:45 AM on Sunday, January 3rd. Nursery for 0-2 will be available during classes.

Thank You From The Pastors
We, as pastors, each received a Christmas gift from our Hillcrest family this past Tuesday. Thank you! We thank everyone for their support and generosity shown to us in so many ways, especially during this mixed-up year of 2020! What a blessing to us and our families! Revolution Ski Retreat
March 11-14, 2021
Sign-Up Deadline: January 17
The senior high Ski Retreat is on for 2021!  We are going to have a great time growing in our faith, building memories together, and shredding the slopes at Snowy Range Ski Area! What about COVID? I (Pastor Zach) have talked with the camp coordinator at Table in the Wilderness and he assured me that we will be able to socially distance during our time at their camp. As far as other health concerns go, we will keep the students attending the trip and their parents updated as the health mandates may change in the coming months. We are looking forward to having a fun and safe ski trip this spring!

Severe Weather Policy
Should there ever be a need to cancel or postpone Sunday morning services or any large event (involving the majority of the congregation) due to severe weather, you will be notified the following three ways: 

1. An email will be sent out to everyone who is already on our email list. Join the church email list HERE.
2. An alert will be posted on the Hillcrest Evangelical Free Church Facebook page. 
3. It will also appear on television on 1011 News and 1011now.com.

In regard to Wednesday night ministries (Women’s Bible Study, Adult Bible Study, Hillcrest Kids, Inside Out and Sr. High Small groups, etc), if Seward Public Schools cancels classes or lets out early due to weather, we will automatically cancel our evening activities at Hillcrest. We will do our best to share cancellations via the Hillcrest Facebook page. We would encourage you to share the post to make it more visible to others.

As always, if at any time you have a concern about icy roads or snowfall and believe travel would be unsafe, we encourage you to exercise your best judgment and decide for yourself if you should simply stay home.
