Easter Brunch Fundraiser for Mission Trip

This Easter, the Hillcrest Youth Ministry will be serving Easter Brunch! Come and enjoy pancakes, sausage, eggs, and fruit! Free-will donations will go towards sponsoring our Youth's Groups Mission Trip to New Orleans Mission, LA in June.

Barters, Trades, and Deals – Business in the Bible - Room 110
Life is filled with trade-offs. Every day we spend our time, our money, our energy, and our emotional bank account in trades. The Bible has a lot to say about trading. In this series, we will explore passages that relate to key concepts in trading. We will explore how Satan and our sinful ambitions influence our decisions. We will explore examples of people in the Bible who made a trade. We will also see how both the Old Testament Torah and Jesus give teachings to form our perspective. Let’s develop discernment together as we discover the differences between good deals and bad ones. Class will be lead Jon Anderson.

Missions 101 - Fellowship Hall
The purpose of this class is to educate our church to think and live missionally here, there, and everywhere; all the while helping our church to know and care for our current missionaries even better. Class will be lead by Pastor Zach, Elijah Hackbart, David Ideus, and Audrey Schanou.

Couples are invited for refreshments and to hear Dan and Julie Brenton speak at Hillcrest on Friday, April 23rd from 6:30-9 PM. Dan and Julie Brenton have been married for 38 years and have spoken for 26 years with Family Life on the topics of marriage and family. They live in Grand Island where Dan is the Pastor at Grand Island E-Free. A freewill offering will be taken for Dan and Julie after the event. Childcare provided for $5. Contact Sarah Curtis at 402-646-8574 and let her know if you will need childcare as space limited.
