Important Update
After much discussion on the current stress on our healthcare system, protecting our families through the holiday season, and meeting the spiritual needs of our body, a combined vote of the Elder Board and General Board approved a motion that includes:

• Continue to offer two Sunday morning worship services including nursery for families attending. We remind those attending to socially distance and recommend that all consider wearing a mask. A livestream of one of the two services will continue.
• Pause other in person ministries at the church (including youth and adult Sunday school, Children’s Church, and Wednesday night ministries) through January 3^rd. The Elder Board and General Board will meet together on December 8^th to develop a plan to move forward with in person ministries after January 3^rd

This has been a gut-wrenching decision for the leadership. Please continue to pray for wisdom for the leadership, especially as we work toward our meeting on December 8^th, grant an abundance of grace, and love each other. The enemy desires that this will divide our body. God desires that this be used for His glory! Please direct any comments for the leadership by email to Jenna at office@hillcrestefc.org.

This week we will be meeting AT Seward Bowl for bowling from 9-10:30 PM. So, what do you need to know?

1. All parents/students will be responsible for transportation to and from Seward Bowl
2. Students will need to bring $2.00 to bowl.  
3. Students are required to wear a mask while inside Seward Bowl.
4. We will have students use hand sanitizer upon entering Seward Bowl and when they leave to go home.
5. Five people to each lane (we will have the whole place, so that should not be an issue)

Virtual Adult Small Group
Register by November 30th!
The Christmas Experience is a 5-session, virtual small group study that examines the Christmas story, revealing the important role each person played, and the power of God. Sessions conducted in the evening — Dec. 1, 6, 8, 15, 22.  Each session will include simultaneous group viewing of a video and discussion afterward.  Required:  internet access, working camera and microphone. Priority will be given to first-time small group registrants.  E-mail Pastor Brad on or before November 30 at pastorbrad@hillcrestefc.org for details and to register. No fee. 

Decorating for Christmas

Come and help decorate the church for Christmas on Wednesday, December 2nd at 8:30 AM! It typically takes 3-4 hours to get all setup. Even if you have to arrive late or leave early, we still hope you’ll join us!
