“…but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law, he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.”
- (Psalm 1:2-3)

Ideas

  • Create a routine – one of the greatest challenges in these uncertain times is that the routine we’ve had is disrupted. Each day, decide how you are going to invest your time.  Ask: What are the most important 1 – 3 things I need to get done today?
  • Stay connected – while physical distancing may be important to slow the spread of the virus, that doesn’t mean you can’t stay connected with people. Setup a virtual coffee date or have a meal with a friend. Schedule time with friends or family and use online technology like Zoom, Skype, or Facetime.  Ask: Who can I visit virtually?
  • Mind your mind – rather than mindless viewing of news on social media or other channels, use this time to fill your head with good stuff, like the Bible or a good book. Audit your time and evaluate where you are getting information from. Consider whether the information is helping or hurting your state of mind.  Ask: Where am I focusing my attention?

Let Us Pray Together

Please join in praying:

  • For our members of the US Congress. For wisdom in their approach to guiding our country through these times.
  • For anyone who may be isolated from their family or other needed social connections.
  • Pray this for others…“Now may the God of peace make (insert name) holy in every way, and may their whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24

Don't Forget!
With many of us stuck at home or in need of encouragement these days, RightNow Media is a great resource for christian videos for children or new Bible studies for teens and adults.
