At an event held at Little Owl Preschool, Long Beach Mayor Robert Garcia announced the launch of the Mayor’s Fund for Education. LBCC Football's Hines and Tulette Ink National Letters of Intent for Division-I Programs 

After another solid season from the Long Beach City College football program, two outstanding athletes have committed to signing their National Letters of Intent (NLI) to compete at the NCAA Division-I level. Sophomore offensive lineman Jacob Hines (Long Beach, CA) sign his NLI to attend Texas Tech University and freshman offensive lineman Sean Tulette (Long Beach, CA) inked his NLI to compete at the University of Idaho. Read more...
