Development of New Downtown Innovation Center Reaches Milestone

Earlier today, the City of Long Beach, in partnership with Long Beach City College (LBCC) and BLANKSPACES, celebrated the groundbreaking of a new downtown innovation center at 309 Pine Avenue.

Long Beach City College Superintendent-President Reagan F. Romali recently announced several management appointments in key executive and academic oversight roles.


PlumbLine is designed as a window to contemporary jewelry and metalwork in a region relatively unacquainted with many of its own makers. This includes Alexandra Hopp and Eric Silva from the Los Angeles area who both focus deeply on their jewelry practice, though in radically different ways.

CA Community Colleges Urge Students to Submit DACA Renewals

The California Community College Chancellor Eloy Ortiz Oakley, California Attorney General Xavier Becerra and University of California President Janet Napolitano will hold a press conference to discuss important steps students can take following a court order that required the Trump Administration to begin accepting DACA renewal applications.
