As the Deer Pants
Robin Mark
As the deer pants for the water
So my soul longs after You
You alone are my heart's desire
And I long to worship You
You alone are my strength, my shield
To You alone may my spirit yield
You alone are my heart's desire
And I long to worship You

I want You more than gold or silver,
Only You can satisfy.
You alone are the real joy-giver
And the apple of my eye.
You're my friend and you are my brother,
Even though You are a King.
I love you more than any other,
So much more than anything.
Be Thou My Vision
Audrey Assad
Be thou my vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that thou art
Thou my best thought, by day or by night;
Waking or sleeping, thy presence my light.
Be thou my wisdom, and thou my true word;
I ever with thee and thou with me, Lord.
Thou my great Father; thine own may I be,
Thou in me dwelling and I one with thee.
Riches I heed not, nor vain, empty praise;
Thou mine inheritance, now and always;
Thou and thou only first in my heart,
High King of heaven, my treasure thou art.
High King of heaven, my victory won,
May I reach heaven's joys, O bright heaven's sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my vision, O Ruler of all.

St Stephen's Church Fradley

Sea Sunday
This week, 12th July, is Sea Sunday.
This is when many Christian  churches remember and pray for seafarers and their families and give thanks
for their lives and work.
Another area that I thought we could think about is the parable of the sower, as this is the reading for this Sunday.
If you are not familiar with the story of the sower, maybe you could look it up Matthew 13:1-9 and 18-23, in the
New Testament section of your Bibles.
It talks about the sower sowing the seeds and what different things can happen to those little seeds once they hit the ground.
After telling that parable,
Jesus then goes on to explain what it means.
I have included a sheet for you to print off and  either cut out or draw the objects and put them in the correct place.
Cut out or draw the objects and then
 put them into the correct picture
An intricate pattern on the fish for you to carefully colour in and one which is more straight forward.
Why not draw your own fishermen to go with the fish!
Maybe you could plant a seed, making sure you check for weeds, thorns, birds and too much sun and see what happens to your tiny seed.    Don’t forget to water it!
As your plant grows, keep a record-
-measure it each week
-draw or write about your seed’s progress
We would love to hear how you plant has grown with your special care.
Hope to see you all soon
Stay safe
