April 2017 | The Coyote Connection

Earth Month Activities

Since Earth Day is April 22nd, please take a moment to stop, look around you, and appreciate the beauty of our planet. We and our partners have so many activities that you can do to get to know Coyote Creek and enjoy the outdoors better this month. Hope you'll join us.

We ask you to Hop4Earth, where you go to a park and do a fun activity for people to put trash in its place. See our video and participate in the campaign. Use #Hop4Earth and @Litterati.

Our Coyote Creek cleanup for Earth Day is Saturday, 4/15 and the Great American Litter Pick-Up is on Saturday 4/22 throughout San Jose. Join in one on one of these dates to show how much your care for Mother Earth.

Show us what you are doing for Earth month. Please tag us @CoyoteCreekSJ and use hashtag #EarthDay2017.

Take care,

The Sierra Club - Loma Prieta Chapter has been a continuous supporter for Coyote Creek's watershed. Over the past years, they've partnered with us to host walks, host cleanup events, and provide event attendees with relevant information about watershed health. We celebrate the continued efforts of the Sierra Club and its many volunteers to raise awareness about the value of a healthy environment. To participate in their activities, see the regional Meetup Group
