Open Space Authority Measure Q Grant Award

We got it! The Open Space Authority of Santa Clara Valley approved our proposal to conduct community planning and develop a concept plan for a vision for Coyote Meadows as an urban open space park. These funds are part of the Urban Open Space grant program from Measure Q funds. We were one of the 15 grants awarded.

More will be forthcoming on when we will host our first community meeting after funds are available. We will have another working committee meeting in early January. Date will be announced shortly.

Coyote Meadows Walking Tour

On November 13, the Sierra Club-Loma Prieta, Guadalupe Regional Group, and the Coalition hosted a Walking Tour. Over 40 attendees enjoyed a warm, sunny day to hear from a number of residents, trails advocates, and elected officials about the value of Coyote Meadows area, and its potential. See the write up on our blog and view photos on Facebook.

Thanks for being part of the journey!
