Dear <<Greeting>>
Cycling

According to his progress map, Patrick McIntosh, the "M" in KMG (our corporate sponsor), appears to have reached Japan, after cycling from Twickenham (only 7,557 miles!), raising awareness and funds for the World Cancer Research Fund and St Catherine's Hospice in Crawley.
Please make a donation towards his £250,000 target - click here - certainly a worthy cause, and surely an undertaking deserving of everybody's support.
Patrick's aim was to reach Tokyo in time for the Rugby World Cup, which starts on 20th September, two weeks from today - I hope he hasn't left his tickets at home!

Rugby
England's first game, against Tonga, is on Sunday 22nd September, and so there's no excuse for not coming to our . . .
Open Singing Day
on Saturday 21st September, exploring Vaughan Williams' exhilarating A Sea Symphony, which the Chorale is performing three times in 2020 - in St Edmundsbury Cathedral, in the Duke's Hall at the Royal Academy of Music and in Prague. The singing day, led by Leslie Olive, is being held at Holy Trinity Church, Redhill - full details, application forms and instructions can be found on our website. Perhaps we can tempt you to join us for the performances.
2019-2020

The second event in our 40th anniversary season will be a celebration choral evensong in St Mary's Church, Reigate, where the Chorale was founded, and after a suitable break for refreshment there will be a performance of Vivaldi's Gloria. No tickets are required for this event, but there will be a retiring collection in aid of St Catherine's Hospice, Crawley, which we hope you will support generously.
