Dear <<Greeting>>
Summer Concert
Our 2018-2019 season finishes with a short concert 'Sprig of Thyme', based around John Rutter's arrangements of folk songs. For this concert we are back at St Mary's, Reigate, on Saturday July 13th, starting at 4pm. After the concert there will be cake and prosecco - do come and celebrate with us. Tickets are available through our website at and through choir members.

Our 40th season's programme is full of exciting events, from Reigate to the South Bank, via Prague. There will be a celebration choral evensong in St Mary's Church Reigate, where the Chorale was founded, and In November the same church will resound to Saint-Saëns' mighty "Organ" Symphony. In 2020 we are collaborating with the Eye Bach Choir and the Prague Conservatoire Orchestra in no less than three performances of Vaughan Williams' exhilarating Sea Symphony - one in St Edmundsbury Cathedral, one in the Duke's Hall in the Royal Academy of Music, and one in Prague. The finale of the season is a performance, entirely from memory, of Verdi's Requiem in the Queen Elizabeth Hall on London's South Bank, in a programme that also includes Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1.

Quite a year!

Tokyo or Bust!

Patrick McIntosh, the "M" in KMG (our corporate sponsor), is well into his epic cycle ride to Tokyo (only 7,557 miles!), raising awareness and funds for cancer research and St Catherine's Hospice. He is aiming to reach Tokyo in time for the Rugby World Cup, which starts in 100 days time.

According to his website here, he appears to be half-way across Russia, give or take a few thousand miles. Please make a donation towards his £250,000 target - click here.
